Glitch image effects for creative artwork

RGB Split shifts the red and blue channels horizontally in opposite directions while keeping green aligned. Bright edges develop colored fringes, giving lettering and photographs a misregistered glitch-art look.

Feedback Smear builds a trail from offset samples of the current image. Buildup makes the trail stronger immediately, including while playback is paused.

Slice Shift moves selected horizontal bands sideways. Band height controls the thickness of each interruption, while Coverage leaves more or less of the original structure intact.

Block Displacement relocates the contents of selected rectangular patches. Unlike a pixelation treatment, each displaced patch can retain detail from the source.

Digital Dropout replaces selected rectangular regions with a chosen corruption color. Its block pattern can refresh while motion runs, creating a missing-signal appearance.

Digital Noise mixes colored static and horizontal noise bands into an image. Strength sets the disturbance, while Chroma moves between monochrome and colored noise.

Line Jitter offsets narrow horizontal lines with seeded randomness. The changing line positions suggest unstable signal timing without requiring a video input.

Macroblock flattens image regions into grid-aligned blocks, reduces their color steps, and copies some block colors from nearby positions. Seam darkening makes the grid more visible.

Waveform Tear shifts image rows around a movable tear position. Opposing horizontal offsets create a sheared image, while motion can carry the tear through the frame.

Frame Echo combines the current image with retained output from earlier rendered frames. The echo offset jumps at intervals, producing stepped ghosting around the source.
